Digital pathology is transforming the way laboratories operate—but successful implementation requires more than just new technology. In this webinar, industry experts will guide laboratory professionals through the key steps to building a sustainable digital pathology program, from strategic planning to workflow optimization.
Join us on October 30, 2025 at 1pm EST, for "ECPC’s Digital Leap with LigoLab and Proscia," where attendees will learn how to craft a clear project vision that aligns with institutional goals, evaluate and refine workflow processes to support best practices, and understand the impact of LIS integration on anatomic pathology operations. Our experts will share how to support pathologists as they transition from traditional microscopy to digital platforms, including managing expectations and addressing workflow limitations, and will explore the critical role of pathologist champions—those who lead change, share expertise, and help drive successful adoption across the organization.
Ready to lead your lab into the digital future?
Key Learning Objectives:
- Understanding the importance of having a clear project plan/vision for how digital pathology will be used in the organization.
- Plan for running through all various workflow processes to ensure IT systems support best practices.
- Benefits of integration; creating a plan for how LIS integration will impact workflow for the AP laboratory.
- Managing expectations for pathologists making the change from microscope to digital and associated workflow changes and possible limitations.
- Prepare to have pathologist champion(s) to be "resident expert" and help drive the transition.
