Expert Panel

Laura Chapman_headshot

Laura Chapman

Senior Staff Scientist Manager, ThermoFisher Scientific

Laura leads a group of scientists who develops new tools optimized for DNA and RNA isolation from a wide range of sample types. She is responsible for co-developing the Invitrogen Cells-to-CT kits, used to measure relative gene expression by real-time RT-PCR without the need to purify RNA prior to amplification.

Anupriya Gupta

Staff Scientist, ThermoFisher Scientific

Anupriya helped co-develop the Genexus Purification System, wherein she specifically worked on reformulating buffers and instrumentation. She has widespread experience working with magnetic bead-based technologies, automation, liquid handling, and looking at downstream assays like RT-PCR and fragment analyses.
